Christian Education Staff
Brianna Schwenk, our new Director of Christian Education, began her ministry with us in August 2011. Brianna comes to us after working as the youth director at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Iowa City. People who worked with Brianna spoke highly about her strong relationships with parents and teens at the church. She studied at both St. Olaf College and Creighton University. Having worked as a high school speech coach, she is currently studying for a Master of Arts in Teaching at Drake.
Brianna works in partnership with our pastor, the Rev. Bill Lovin, and the Board of Christian Education.
We have two caregivers who watch over our very young children during the worship service and, prior to that, the Christian education time.
