This is going to be a long recovery process. Please be gentle with one another.

We’re looking for many different ways to get information out to members and the larger community. Below is information that was current on August 13. Please check the Sunday bulletin and listen for announcements during worship. And check back here as well.

IOWA DISASTER VICTIMS NEED HOUSING! The Iowa Housing Task Force and FEMA ask landlords and Realtors to register available rental units to help link families with homes. If you have a property available you can list it by contacting: FAX: 515-232-2598 or PHONE: 866-274-4392 (toll free).

If you have had ANY flood damage, register with FEMA as soon as possible by calling 1-800-621-FEMA or online at www.fema/gov.

If you get a Small Business Administration loan packet, fill it out! The SBA is the source of the low interest loans for BOTH personal homes and businesses.

The United Way is coordinating volunteers for the cleanup.

The Crisis Center is overseeing the distribution of financial aid and providing caseworkers.

The Parkview Terrace/Normandy Drive neighborhood has immediate needs for help cleaning out their homes. To connect with residents in the flooded neighborhood who will have a day-to-day handle on some of the neighborhood needs, you can contact:
