Today is the second Sunday in Lent. Our theme for Lent this year is “…in the broken places.” The brokenness of our world and of our lives is readily apparent. And while brokenness can isolate people and communities, we also have glimpses of the good news that we are together in the broken places. In worship this morning we’ll hear both ancient and contemporary stories about finding one another in unexpected places.
SCRIPTURE LESSONS: II Corinthians 1:4-11; Mark 2:1-12
SERMON: “Together in the Broken Places”
The Rev. William Lovin preaching
